Out of 6GB of my phone’s RAM, why only 1GB is free?
There could be a few reasons why only 1GB of your phone’s RAM is free. Some possible causes could include:
- Running many apps simultaneously: When you have multiple apps running at the same time, each app will use a certain amount of RAM. This can add up quickly and lead to low free RAM.
- Background processes: Even when you’re not actively using an app, it may still be running in the background and consuming RAM. This could include things like updates, syncing, or notifications.
- System processes: Your phone’s operating system also uses RAM to run various processes, such as managing the display, managing network connections, and more.
- Malware: In rare cases, malware or other malicious software could be running on your device and consuming large amounts of RAM.
To free up RAM, you can try closing apps that you’re not currently using, and disabling any unnecessary background processes. Additionally, you can clear your phone’s cache, or uninstall unnecessary apps or bloatwares.
